Our love of Golden’s started almost 50 years ago with my first experience being with a golden named “Bing”. He was the perfect dog from my childhood. My next experience with the breed was when my daughters grandmother had a golden named scooby “scoobs”. I can remember a year old Brittney climbing on this dog while he laid on the floor or her putting her little hands down his throat. He would lay there and allow my child to torture him. Just glad he was near her. From that moment on I’ve been deeply in love with this breed.
We actually started our breeding many years later. Our first dog in the program was in 2010 with Winchester “Chester”. Winchester was our stud for about 9 years and fathered —- litters. The majority of the litters came from our very own Miss Rosè. Miss Rosè has just recently been retired. It was during these years that we learned all about breeding, certification, proper nutrition, and the importance of having high standards in a breeding program.
